Waterford Hospice Movement is a member of Together for Hospice, The National Hospice Movement represents 26 hospices coming together to fundraise collectively for Sunflower Days.
Hospice Sunflower Days will take place on Friday 7th & Saturday 8th June 2024. Volunteers all over the country will take to the streets in towns and villages to raise funds for their local hospice. Funds raised through the on-street collection in Waterford go directly to Waterford Hospice.
Thank you so much to all our wonderful volunteers who took to the streets in Waterford for Sunflower Days 2023 and made this a very successful event this year.
Every Euro raised locally, stays locally.
Host a Sunflower Fun Day
Waterford Hospice would love your school to get involved in our new event for Hospice Sunflower Days 2024, Sunflower Fun Day!
Taking part is easy. Pupils are asked to get involved by wearing yellow to school on any date that suits. Children and staff can be as inventive and creative as they wish, they could wear a yellow T-shirt, giant yellow glasses, or go even bigger and dress up as a sunflower! All they need to do is wear something yellow and have fun!
Ready to host a Sunflower Fun Day at your school? Here’s how:
You will receive a downloadable pack containing digital posters to advertise your event, digital colouring sheets and a letter to inform parents of the planned day and Sunflower Seeds for the children to have fun planting!
